Every system we build is designed for you to own and run without us. We're not in the business of creating dependencies. The goal is always a clean handoff — with your team capable and confident on the other side.

Specific Over Generic.

We can't conclusively say every off-the-shelf software is bad. You should use the right software in the right places, and build tools, process, or glue elsewhere. Your market, your team, and your stage are specific. The system we build for you should be too.

We are entering a new evolutionary stage. The competitive edge no longer lies in widespread enterprise software that every competitor can buy. It resides in complexity — in the bespoke, proprietary operating systems that are built in-house and hard to replicate from the outside.

True leverage is now built within the business itself, not in the tools that support it. The companies that win the next decade won't be the ones with the best software subscriptions. They'll be the ones with the best systems.

For as long as he can remember, Josh has been drawn to the broken thing in the room. Not to complain about it — to figure out what's wrong, fix it, and move on to the next one. In every role, every company, every team, the pattern was the same: diagnose the problem nobody wanted to name, build the system to fix it, and hand it off to the people who'd run it after him.

It just so happened that he was also good at selling. That combination — natural problem-solver who could carry a number — set the path: 13 years inside PE-backed HealthTech companies, scaling revenue, building teams, and constructing the operational infrastructure that made growth possible.

Black Bubble exists because consulting is the logical extension of that pattern. As an operator inside one company, you solve one company's problems. As a consultant, you solve them for many. The work is the same. The reach is larger.
